Says the man who brought us Secret Courts...

Ken Clark is an evil man, oh he may not think he is evil, but his past deeds definitely makes him someone to whom the word evil could justly be applied.
It was Clark who brought about the secret courts scheme  where the ancient writ of habeas corpus was to be undermined by the justice and security bill.
It was Clarke who played his part in transferring power from our elected representatives to the unelected bureaucrats in Brussels.
It was Clarke told the Parliamentary authorities that his main home was in his Rushcliffe constituency, enabling him to claim a second homes allowance on his London home and leaving the taxpayer to foot the bill for the council tax due on that property. However, he told Rushcliffe Borough Council in Nottinghamshire that he spent so little time at his constituency address that his wife Gillian should qualify for a 25% council-tax (single person's) discount, saving the former chancellor around £650 per year.
There are other accusations of a far darker nature out there too, google them to find out.
Mail.
Voters who back the UK Independence Party are racists and its politicians are clowns, Ken Clarke claimed yesterday.
The veteran Tory Cabinet minister led attacks by all three main parties as he said UKIP is merely a protest party and those attracted to it are ‘waifs and strays’ who are simply ‘against’ foreigners and immigrants.Mr Clarke’s astonishing onslaught came as polls showed that Nigel Farage’s Eurosceptic party has overtaken the Liberal Democrats and is set for its best local election results ever on Thursday, when 35 county councils and unitary authorities in England and one in Wales go to the polls.
Says the man who once invited Oswald Mosely to speak to Jewish students, causing his then boss to resign in protest.
It's been interesting the sheer negative campaigning from all the big three parties in respect of one small party who chances are will not win the general election, nor probably control of any local council. Actually, recent polling shows Ukip ahead of the Lib Dems, so perhaps big three isn't quite the right term any more.
What is interesting though is that Ukip aren't just picking up votes from disaffected Tories, but also from Labour and Lib Dem ones too. Not that the parties concerned own those votes, though to hear them scream you'd almost think they did.
No matter, Ukip are on a bit of a roll and the steps necessary to squish them have been rolled out though amusingly to no avail. People know when politicians are lying, they can see their lips moving and the political dwarves of the UK have made a career of ignoring the people and lying to their faces so why they think we'll believe them now about Ukip is anyone's guess.
I'll be watching the election results with interest, they don't affect me, the next time I get to vote will be the European elections where I suspect Ukip might just rout certain parties and really set the cat amongst the pigeons.
Still, whatever Clarke says, I'll take with a pinch of salt, as I wrote, the man is evil and has a track record to prove it.

Another black mark on Leveson

The politicians of this country, mainly Labour, but the Coagulation have done little to stop it either, invited in mass uncontrolled immigration. They constantly bleat on about the hordes coming in from Romania and Bulgaria (soon) as well as wringing their hands over the Poles and Balts who came over first. Yet that immigration wasn't the concern of the ordinary people of the UK, oh sure some didn't like them taking on the poorly paid jobs and thought we'd be better off if they hadn't come, but by and large they integrated to a certain extent and many have settled here because our cultures were remarkably similar. What really concerned the ordinary people was the mass uncontrolled immigration of islamics from various countries who had nothing in common with our culture, were divisive in communities, demanded (and got) the right to stay apart and then increased their demands to where they want us to adapt to them and not criticise them, their religion or their barbaric practices in any way shape or form. The have tried to blow us up, poison us, insult our dead, insult our troops and groomed our underage girls and yet expect us to keep silent about it, aided and abetted by the left wing morons infesting the corridors of power in this country along with a few deluded politicians who seek power rather than do what's right.
Daily Star.
A TERRORIST convicted of plotting to blow up the London Stock Exchange has been “quietly” released from jail after his sentence was cut on appeal.
Mohibur Rahman’s five-year term for having al-Qaida magazines featuring bomb-making instructions – handed down in February 2012 – was reduced to four and a half years by judges.
Rahman was part of a nine-strong gang who also plotted to target Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye in a “Mumbai-style” bomb blitz.
The Islamic radical, 28, was released just one year after admitting possessing an article for a terrorist purpose. He also got credit for being on remand since December 2010.
The Stoke-based plotter is now out on licence.
But reports from a court hearing last May revealed Rahman once told another extremist through a pipe connecting their cells: “When you get released you will be on licence. When you finish your licence you can carry on your work.”
We can reveal the terror cheerleader’s term was slashed by Lord Justice Leveson – the judge who presided over an inquiry into Press standards – at an appeal court hearing at Woolwich Crown Court earlier this month.
Even when we lock them up our judiciary release them back into society quietly and secretly where they can begin their activities again rather than drop them off from 10,000 feet above their 'beloved' islamic shitholes.
We do know that if Leveson had his way we wouldn't even hear about such cases, it would be deemed as not in the public interest. Yet the problems continue to grow and the trials continue. The percentage of islamics in the UK prison system stands at something like 12% yet the supposed islamic population of the UK is about 5%. That ought to have alarm bells ringing somewhere in the seat of power, but it doesn't appear too. The politicians are still wandering down the path of appeasement rather than actually dealing with the problems.
Mass uncontrolled immigration was a disaster for this country to be sure, but it wasn't the mass uncontrolled immigration of the Poles and Balts, it won't be the immigration of Romanians and Bulgarians either, yes there will be problems, but they pale into insignificance of not closing our borders to islamic immigration and expulsion of any group who cause problems, born here or not. If they love islam so much, they can go and live in a country that practices it and see how they like it then.

Well there's a surprise...

Studies by various government funded groups are generally a waste of time, either their polling is too small to give a decent sample or they draw erroneous conclusions from the results due to the way the questions are parsed. A lot of the time though, they simply tell us what we already knew.
Mail.
Children who are given anti-racism lessons in school are more likely to be intolerant outside the classroom, a major study found yesterday.
It said accusing white pupils of racism causes animosity, and discussing sensitive ethnic concerns such as honour killings paints minority group children in a bad light.
The survey said children who live in mixed neighbourhoods are often free of hostility towards other racial groups.
But it found that ‘when more attention in class is being paid to the multicultural society, the liberalising effect of positive contact in class on youngsters’ xenophobic attitude decreases’.
The report added that bad feelings among minority groups could be generated by discussion of topics such as honour killings or female circumcision. Animosity could also be caused by ‘a one-sided offender- victim approach to racism’.
The findings echo the views of Bradford head teacher Ray Honeyford, who was driven from his job nearly 30 years ago over his claim that multicultural teaching was harming pupils.
Mr Honeyford said that pupil performance was hindered by ‘the notion of the multi-racial curriculum urged by the authorities, and of making colour and race significant, high-profile issues in the classroom’.
Well that's your European tax dollars at work telling us that if you treat one group as racist even when they clearly aren't you will get racism as they'll generally resent this and become ever more hostile to those trying to plant the idea that old whitey is somehow different to everyone else as they are the only ones who can be racist.
Funny how discussing the really bad stuff like honour killings and female genital mutilation causes bad feelings, though I suspect this is more embarrassment than actual bad feelings.
This survey is yet another blow for those who saw education as some sort of political football to commit social engineering on the young of various nations. That it backfired was a given, they actually increased intolerance and driven extremism as many kids decided that if they were labelled an extremist, then an extremist they would be.
Kids should be allowed to be kids, forcing multicultural one way crap down their throats should stop and other divisive measures such as black history month stopped as well.
Integration not division is the key telling kids they are racists and their history is racist isn't.

With friends like these...

The left love anarchism, they see it as the ideal vehicle to wreck society and lead to the inevitable revolution where they'll be the one leading the 'pre-planned' spontaneous uprisings and usher in the days of the socialist paradise Stalinist, Leninist absolute dictatorship. That's why they were all for the 'Occupy' movement, they simply saw it as yet another mass movement to pin their coats upon until its day was over. They have done the same with women's rights and homosexuality, but dropped those 'shibboleths' as soon as islam caught their interests. They appear to believe that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Often enough they aren't, they are just another enemy...
Mail.
An anarchist leader twice raped a woman at the infamous protest camp on the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral, the Old Bailey heard yesterday.
The alleged assaults happened at the squalid tent city set up by hundreds of anti-capitalists in the Occupy London group.
Malcolm Blackman, self-styled leader of computer hacking group Anonymous UK, raped the woman in her tent twice in seven days, including once when she had passed out drunk, the court heard.
There's a lot more and you have to wonder at just what the hell the woman was thinking, but rape is rape and he is facing trial over the allegations.
Now he's mentioned as an anarchist, however 'Anonymous' only seem to target right wing sites, well sites they deem to be right wing and racist, as opposed to left wing and racist/violent/moronic. Judging by his face, the alleged use of cable ties comes as no particular surprise either. These people (Occupy) were also the ones tweeting about their fear of the EDL marching on St Paul's (they weren't) yet they were perfectly happy to allow some very dodgy characters amongst them anyway.
Blackman isn't the only leftist leader embroiled in a rape scandal, the leadership of the Socialist Workers Party are also going down the same route...
Mail.
Earlier this week, Ciara Squires, a student at Queen Mary, University of London, and a hitherto enthusiastic member of the Socialist Workers Party (SWP), posted this message on Twitter: ‘I’ve left the SWP but in absolute tears. So absolutely gutted. Gonna drink wine till I don’t care about anything.’
Behind her emotional and very public admission is a deepening scandal that is threatening to engulf Britain’s largest far-Left organisation, which prides itself on its promotion of women’s rights.
The scandal first came to light earlier this year and involved an allegation of rape against a senior figure in the party by a junior colleague.
Instead of calling in the police, the party set up what can only be described as a kangaroo court, comprised mainly of the alleged attacker’s friends, to investigate the complaint, and effectively act as judge and jury.
Yet the left believe that somehow or other it is the right who are barbaric scum.
Then again, look who the left stand shoulder to shoulder with in certain protests...
Mail.
Three men who abducted a vulnerable 13-year-old girl from the streets of London and forced her to become their sex slave have been jailed.
The girl, who was described as being from a broken and troubled family, was subjected to sexual abuse over four days after being persuaded to travel with the men to Ipswich in Suffolk in July last year.
Mohammed Sheikh, Hamza Ali and Suran Uddin were all convicted of trafficking and sex offences following a trial.
Today at Norwich Crown Court, Judge Nicholas Coleman said the girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, had been left traumatised by the ordeal.
One can almost see where the left get it from...
Yet you can bet if  a group like the EDL were to hold a protest in Ipswich over this grooming case, the SWP would stand shoulder to shoulder with the community that brought them up and inculated their misogyny and sexual barbarity into them.
The left and islam, almost made for each other...

Economy avoids triple-dip recession, BBC and associated leftists gutted.

God alone knows why the BBC had such a hard on for a triple dip recession other than somehow it would spite the Tory party. I mean to say, the people most affected would be those low level earners whose jobs are in jeopardy and who are struggling with the rate of inflation and other associated price rises.
Then again as these people often won't vote Labour and aren't on benefits, perhaps that explains it.
BBC.
The UK economy has avoided falling back into a recession after recording faster-than-expected growth in the first three months of the year.
The Office for National Statistics said its first estimate for gross domestic product (GDP) showed the economy grew 0.3% during the first quarter of 2013.
Chancellor George Osborne said it was an "encouraging sign".
But the shadow chancellor, Ed Balls, said that the economy was "just back to where it was six months ago".
The growth in GDP means the economy avoided two consecutive quarters of contraction - the definition of a recession. There had been fears the UK would enter its third recession in five years, a so-called triple-dip recession.
The BBC once again giving credence to Ed Balls one of the architects of New Labours attempts to spend all the money the country had and then some.
One of the more amazing things recently has been the criticism aimed at the government from Labour as well as the IMF is that the government is not spending enough, this is despite the fact that they are still borrowing to ring fence their spending plans. Osborne's solution to the economic crisis seems to have been not to stop spending any more than he takes in, but to borrow slightly less than those economic numb-nuts of the Labour Party.
Either way, it's going to take generations to pay back what the successive governments of the last decade or so have borrowed. There's also pretty little sign of any willingness to try.
Still that won't stop the BBC from blaming the Tories for something that wasn't their fault in the first place.
With the left, it never has...

A costly mistake

I think about the worst thing I've ever done with a text message is a spelling mistake. Though I have had some damned good laughs at various spelling mistakes coming through and there's even a site that posts some of the more hilarious ones too...
I have however never sent a text to the wrong person...
IB Times.
A Saudi woman has been sentenced to eight lashes by a court in Qatif for mistakenly sending a text message allegedly promoting the Shiite branch of Islam. The 30-year-old woman, identified only as YH, has been pronounced guilty for sending an SMS to another Saudi woman, containing a group of telephone numbers under the name 'Shiite Islamic religious services'.
One phone number apparently led to Ayatollah Sistani, Iraq's most senior Shiite cleric who is renowned throughout the Gulf for his learned counsel on Islamic law.
The Saudi Arabian state is a staunch adherent to the Sunni branch of Islam, and publicly disparages the Shia sect. Shia Muslims are not allowed to practice their faith, or even profess their sectarian beliefs in private.
The act of calling people for Shiism, or openly advocating the Shia faith, has been pronounced as haram (forbidden and despicable in Arabic) by the Attorney General, who publicly demanded that YH be severely punished.
The sentence was eventually conferred by judge Davoud Mohammad al-Davoud, who, according to local sources, is an extremist sectarian with a history of harsh judgements.
Always an eye opener to see what the paymaster of so many of our politicians will do when their so called religion is criticised. Remember this is Saudi Arabia which still imports slaves from Africa and who were the mainstay of the slave industry before and after the western nations became involved and finally decided it was too barbaric. Not that you'll ever hear our ethnic minorities admit such truths, they believe we should apologise for not stamping it out sooner, they always seem to forget that many islamic societies still practice it.
Now do recall, that many muslims want, nay demand that shariah law is introduced to this country. They somehow believe that sending a text giving an alternative viewpoint should be punished by a whipping. They also believe in cutting off the hands of thieves, beheading infidels and hanging gays. there's even a ruling out there as to how many times a man can hit his wife and how big a stick he can use. (we got rid of the rule of thumb centuries ago) In all, if you're a woman, you'd think islam was definitely not for you, yet some do convert which shows how degraded our gene pool has become and how some women clearly have no self respect.
Yet this sort of persecution is what's in store for us if we do not deal firmly with the barbarians in our midst.
The clues are out there.

For Gods sake!

Someone out there is trying to kill me, they are out there peddling the most ridiculous tales for the MSM in an effort to try and make me explode from apoplexy. I mean how else am I suppose to treat this...
Telegraph.
Teachers at a secondary school in London have been told they must not use red ink when marking homework in case it upsets pupils.
The move was condemned as "political correctness gone wild" and ministers were forced to deny the Government issues guidelines on the colour of teachers' pens.
Tory MP Bob Blackman took his concerns to parliament after a teacher in his Harrow East constituency informed him the secondary school had banned staff from using red ink. He told MailOnline: "A teacher contacted me and said I cannot believe I have been instructed by my head to mark children’s homework in particular colours and not to use certain colours. "It is all about not wanting to discourage youngsters if their work is marked wrong. "It sounds to me like some petty edict which is nonsense. It is absolutely political correctness gone wild.
No, it's not the bloody government for once, it's some bloody namby pamby (probably socialist leaning) head teacher who appears to believe that kids won't get upset if they see a wrong mark in some other colour. Hell, I suppose if they do all marking in black, the kids won't know if they've done something wrong and the dumbing down of the poor sods by years of 'right thinking' (but actually left leaning) meddlers from the socialist lunatics infesting the education system can carry on apace.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again, the only way we're ever going to remove the evil left from the education system is to make all teaching staff self employed andon fixed term contracts. That way the good teachers will be retained and those who can't teach to save their lives can be allowed to bugger off elsewhere if they fail the school and education standards. I suspect most of the union activists will be amongst the first to go...
I enjoy blogging, I enjoy writing, but having to trawl through stuff like this really makes it harder to keep this going some days.

Unreal

Well it took the people of Meriden, Warwickshire three years to remove an illegal travellers camp from near their village. I don't know how much it cost, but I suspect it was fairly substantial as the travellers used the legal aid junket to take it ever higher in the courts system, probably hoping that the villagers would give up or run out of money.
Express.
AN illegal gypsy camp set up on green belt land was finally cleared out yesterday after a three-year campaign by villagers ended in victory.
A group of 200 residents had maintained a round-the-clock vigil at the site since the travellers arrived in May 2010 and began turning fields into a caravan site.
The gypsies finally lost an epic legal battle to stay at the site after exhausting their last hope when a High Court judge threw out an application for them to remain on the land last month.
Yesterday the final two caravans on the site at Eaves Green Lane in Meriden, Warwickshire, were removed.
David McGrath chairman of Residents Against Inappropriate Development, said: “I think there is a great sense of relief that they are leaving.”
You'd think that anyone illegally occupying someone else's land would face the full effect of the law. Well you might if you didn't know exactly how the law and the abuses by squatters worked in the UK.
Not that the travellers had much to fear from the police...
GYPSIES and travelling people should get new campsites at taxpayers’ expense because police officers refuse to evict them from private land, force chiefs said
Senior officers say demands on them to move illegal traveller encampments off private land “is in conflict” with police guidelines over “fostering relationships” with gypsies and travellers.
Yes, that's right, travellers have far more rights than you and I do because the police refuse to carry out the law with them because they are to foster relationships with them. Clearly a case of a two tier justice system, though we already knew that with the way the police and CPS deal with the bearded savages moslem community amongst us.
Wouldn't it just be nice to go back to the days when the law was applied without fear or favour?
Or was there ever such a day...

So why did it take so long to get to court?

Three people have been sentenced for enslaving a woman between 2003 and 2006. The catalogue of their crimes is extreme including rape as well as physical violence, they all amazingly enough appear to be of the religion of peace hate judging by the names.
BBC.
Three people have been found guilty of abusing an Indian woman who was treated like a servant and sexually abused.
The mother of four, 39, from Hyderabad, was employed in three London households as a nanny and domestic worker.
Enkarta Balapovi, 54, was convicted of five counts of rape.
Shamina Yousuf, 33, and Shashi Obhrai, 54, were both found guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Obhrai, of Northwood, was also convicted of making a threat to kill.
The jury at Croydon Crown Court cleared Aleemuddin Mohammed, 35, of Sefton Avenue, Harrow, of sexual assault.
Obhrai, an optician from Moor Park in Northwood, Balapovi, a butcher, of Charlburt Street in St John's Wood, Mohammed and Shanaz Begum, a shop worker from St John's Wood, were found not guilty of trafficking offences on the direction of the judge.
On one occasion she managed to escape and reach a help centre but Obhrai found her. Jurors heard she held a kitchen knife to the victim's neck and threatened to kill her.
Ok, the people have been found guilty, however I do wonder why it took so long for this case to reach the courts, surely when the woman was abducted back from the shelter at knife point some alarm bells should have been ringing? It might just be that I'm parsing that paragraph wrong though and the knife threat happened later.
Still surely it should not have taken so long for someone to realise that something was terribly wrong here? Particularly the refuge? Granted I'm sure she could have been kept captive in a house, but escape should have been possible or at least a cry for help of some kind. Perhaps indeed she did and the police were too 'politically correct' to take it further if they thought it was 'cultural' it has been known after all.
Granted I don't know all the facts here other than what I've read in the press. But it does seem to be a very long period to actually reach the stage of justice being done (for a given value of justice)
Perhaps someone out there would care to enlighten us further?

For now...

One of the more worrying aspects of the Leveson enquiry was the willingness of the enemies of freedom to go along with his proposals to muzzle the press. Even more worrying was the fact that you simply cannot trust legislation to do what it says on the tin, there's inevitably mission creep, just look at RIPA and various race relation legislation which has gradually expanded far past the original legislators vision.
So when our MP's turn around and tell me that small blogs will be exempt from press regulation, my initial thoughts focus upon, for how long?
BBC.
Blogs with a turnover of less than £2m and those with fewer than 10 employees will not be subject to new press regulation, the government says.
The amendments - to go before MPs on Monday - also exempt small firms for whom news is not their core business.
A press watchdog is to be established in England and Wales by royal charter and backed by legislation following the Leveson inquiry into press ethics.
The government said the amendments "clarify the position".
You see, thanks to the treacherous Labour and Lib Dem clones in Parliament, we are now heading towards a muzzled press where the thieves that supposedly run the country will have an extra layer in place to prevent their exposure to being caught with their hands in the cookie jar. However, I suspect that one day a blogger will come close to exposing our corrupt fiddlers and that's when the existing legislation will be amended (on the nod no doubt) to include anyone and anything who threatens their cosy little crooked club. Once the new legislation is in place it becomes a lot more easier to simply amend it, such amendments would not necessarily come under full Parliamentary scrutiny either.
To coin a phrase, this is the thin end of the wedge. In twenty or so years time, providing the islamobarbs haven't taken over, we simply won't be in a position to find out what scandalous behaviour our elected representatives are getting up too.
This is the equivalent of throwing a dog a bone to try and make the government look good. The real trouble is the muzzling by extra legislation of our press. Yes, they are a bunch of tossers, but at least they occasionally came up trumps. Soon though, they may make a discovery, but we'll never know.
That's the danger we face, the true danger.

Suspicions form

Two days ago I suggested we hang fire on our suspicions as to just who set off the bombs in Boston. Now it appears the FBI want to question two men with backpacks...
Pictures courtesy of Shariah Unveiled.
Source.
The FBI have confirmed that they wish to speak to these two suspects.
As you can see from the photo's they do not fit the wish list of the liberal left/ far left in being white republican tax evading isolationists. But do appear to be of middle eastern appearance and possible adherents to the religion of peace hate.
It will now be interesting to see whether the various socialist and other blogs of the left choose to rescind their suppositions. I rather suspect they won't, a bit like the BBC really who appear to struggle to give an informed and impartial point of view against anything which does not fit their worldview.
Of course it may be that these men are innocent and that the police and FBI are simply fitting the evidence to suit their prejudices as some have suggested.
However on the face of it, it does rather look like we have another violation of civilised behaviour by the followers of the islamic faith barbarism passing for a religion.
I wish the USA luck in finding them.

A classic case of islamism

Rarely a day goes by without a story coming to my attention about islamists being islamists. Most i just tend to passs on by as I have a life and this blog is written on a variety of interests of mine, not specifically as an anti islam one, even though I am very anti-islam. Still life's too short to trawl the depths of depravity that some muslims can plumb, although this one will take some beating.
Sky News.
A British man has been arrested by police in Florida who claim he flew to the US to have sex with an underage girl and then raise their children as sex slaves.
Shuhel Mahboob Ali allegedly made contact via the internet with an undercover investigator from the Brevard County Sheriff's Office in January.
He is said to have told the agent of his plans.
"As part of the relationship, the suspect allegedly wanted to impregnate the victim, whereupon he would be able to groom the children to be abused by the suspect from the time of birth," a police statement said.
The police said the 39-year-old travelled from London last Saturday and was detained as he went to meet the young girl.
Ali is currently in the custody of the US Marshal's service in Orlando, facing a charge of attempting to persuade a minor to engage in sexual activity.
If convicted, Ali faces life in prison with a minimum sentence of 10 years and a fine of up to $250,000 (£163,000).
I wonder if this is another one of those cultural things we're not supposed to notice? Or forgive?
Oh I'm sure there will be some out there that say that he's only as bad as the rest of us (meaning old whitey no doubt), though I rather suspect that the 'rest of us' would do no such thing nor even be tempted to do such a thing. Still this guy will be facing U.S. justice which is a whole world of difference from the weak UK justice meted out by our dhimmi judges whenever a muslim crosses their paths, an all to frequent occurrence as muslims make a larger proportion of the prison populace than their out of prison numbers would warrant (must be a cultural thing or we're all racist bigots)
Oddly enough MI5 seem to believe that muslims are the most serious threat facing the UK...
International terrorism from groups such as Al Qaida presents a threat on a scale not previously encountered. Drawing on extremist messages presented by figures such as Usama bin Laden, Al Qaida and its related networks seek to carry out terrorist attacks around the world, aiming to carry out "high impact" attacks causing mass civilian casualties.
Yet still our government let them in...

Deciding before the facts are known

It was interesting going this morning as I checked over various bloggers out there both left and right. It wasn't so much what the actual blogger said, but what the commenters said or rather wanted to believe.
The Boston marathon bomb was a horrific act of terrorism, no one has yet admitted who did it or why, yet entrenched views came out in various places that blogged on the issue as well as the MSM. People jumped to conclusions in other words.
The bloggers to the right, were possibly a bit more cautious having been caught out by the likes of Breivik in the past when what appeared to be a standard islamic outrage turned out to be something else entirely. Yet still most commenters of a right bent assumed the bombing was islamic in nature.
The left however were convinced almost to a person that the bomber was a right wing nut influenced by the Republican Party of the USA. Though quite why they think a right wing nut was influenced by the Republicans is anyone's guess, but when it comes to muckspreading the left believe the wider the spray the better the results. Some out there still believe Breivik was an EDL member.
The fact though are, that we simply do not know and the investigation is currently getting under way. Precautions have been taken as in a couple of Arabic men were escorted off a plane, but again it might just have been passenger paranoia, a very understandable reaction though.A Saudi man was also arrested at the scene after acting suspiciously and had burns and wounds, but again he may just be an innocent victim.
In the USA it was also tax assesment day which occasionally triggers protests by right wingers who hate paying (too much) tax. However a marathon is not one of their usual targets, it's normally a government building.
Speculation is going to be rife over the next few days, you can read various comments online from people who are convinced they know who and why.
The facts however remain at variance with what's being said by the authorities. They don't know and if they have their suspicions, they aren't saying.
We should do the same.

The evil amongst us

As a part response to yesterday's post, perhaps this is the islamic history we should be teaching...
Express.
TERRORISTS planned on bombing a Territorial Army (TA) centre in Luton using a remote controlled toy car to bypass security, a court was told today.
Zahid Iqbal and Mohammed Sharfaraz Ahmed spoke of making an improvised explosive device (IED) based upon instructions in an al Qaida manual.
The recordings played to Woolwich Crown Court revealed plans to attach a bomb to an RC car and send it under the gap of a gate at a TA centre.
In the recordings Iqbal said: "I was looking and drove past like the TA centre, Marsh Road. At the bottom of their gate there's quite a big gap.
"If you had a little toy car it drives underneath one of their vehicles or something."
Iqbal, Ahmed, along with Umar Arshad and Syed Farhan Hussain admitted one count of engaging in conduct in preparation for acts of terrorism.
They pled guilty to the charge between January 1 2011 and April 25 2012 at a hearing on March 1 this year.
All good 'English' names of course...
This in part is why my blood boils at the mention of 'the religion of peace' by any media outlet, because I'm damned if I can see anything peaceful about this evil totalitarian thought control system masquerading as a religion. The evil leftist Labour government deliberately flooded our country with these scum and told those of us who objected that we were racists and bigots simply to ask why.
Well that's one of the reasons, another is the prevalence of islamic males grooming underage girls in our communities, homophobia, misogyny, female genital mutilation, first cousin marriage (aka incest) polygamy, the return of tuberculosis, child abuse, the teaching that anyone not a muslim is the descendant of pigs and apes, murder of apostates, animal cruelty, electoral vote abuse...
The list goes on and on and yet we are the ones expected to be tolerant of this as it's apparently 'cultural' according to lefty speak, which means whatever they do has to remain above criticism and those who do are the problem, not the barbarians in our midst.
Again and again we have been told we are the ones who must be tolerant when intolerance seems to be an islamic trait and encouraged by the evil left to try and undermine our society so that they can somehow take over. (They'll be the first victims of an islamic takeover, just look at what happened in Iran)
Yet it's getting to the stage where the English at least will no longer tolerate this poison in our midst. Sooner or later we'll snap and there will be a bloodbath, it's almost become inevitable and there are those of us who will make damned sure that those who caused the problem, as well as the problem face the consequences of their treachery.
Their time will come, mark my words...

Not my history and not my country's history either

I suppose it was inevitable when the leftist infiltration of various charities, think tanks and public services becomes ever more removed from what ordinary people want, that we should end up with call for 'muslim' history to be taught as part of the national curriculum.
Huffington Post.
Faith campaigners have called on the government to include more Muslim history in the national curriculum, as a way of engaging young Muslim pupils, and educating non-Muslims about the contributions of the Islamic world to science and philosophy.
In February the Department of Education published a draft specification of a new history syllabus which is currently under consultation.
But campaign group Curriculum for Cohesion, backed by the Muslim Council of Britain, claims the draft curriculum " excludes all reference to Muslims and Islam" and are urging teachers and members of the public to appeal to the government before the consultation ends next week.
It apparently hasn't struck them that until the late last century apart from the odd slaving raid, there was no muslim history attached to the UK. Nor would I expect that if it were to be taught that the real history including the murders, thefts, barbarism, rapes genocides, racism, misogyny, genital mutilations that make up much of islamic history would be taught come to that.
No, there's no place for muslim history to be taught in the UK save as a specialist subject somewhat on the lines of the rise of the Nazi Party under Hitler. We (the majority) aren't muslims and have no desire to be either having too much self respect.
However don't expect this idea to go away, as far as muslims are concerned our history isn't important and will simply be erased if they ever get into a position to take over. They do have a 'history' of destroying any non islamic past after all. Even in Egypt there are some who would see the Pyramids and Sphinx as well as all the ancient temples and writings demolished.
I suspect the Curriculum for Cohesion is probably a Common Purpose front, it does appear to be following their modus operandi.
I may be wrong, but can see no place for islam in the UK either.

Other people's money

I never bought into the Diana sainthood thing, nor the various conspiracy theories around her death. Whilst I kind of sympathised with her landmine campaign, I could only see it benefiting those insurgents who were being blown up by them. She campaigned successfully to remove a defence from our troops, our armed forces have taken casualties because insurgents can approach their camps a lot closer than they ought too. Yes the civilian casualties were bad, but they were mainly due to landmines left over from the insurgents, not regular armies.
Mail.
The Princess Diana Memorial Fund, to which millions of her admirers donated money, has been hijacked by Left-wingers to fund a pro-immigration propaganda campaign.
Directors of the charity set up a secretive project called Changing Minds and then channelled hundreds of thousands of pounds into a string of associated organisations.
The aim of the scheme is to alter British attitudes to immigration – which are currently in favour of far stricter border controls.
Among some of its most successful achievements, it lists the establishment of a new ‘independent’ think-tank – criticised by a Labour MP as a front for Left-wing views on immigration.
The Migration Observatory is advised by a senior journalist on the Left-wing Guardian newspaper, and the husband of its star columnist, Polly Toynbee.
Yes, the left have always been pretty free with other people's money, seeing it as an extension of their aims and desires and anyone who objects is some sort of fascist/racist/bigot. That they wish to promote the ruination of this country by mass uncontrolled immigration is no surprise. They do the same over any cause designed to emasculate, ignore, dilute and drive the UK people into a place they simply do not wish to be, hence their support of islamist groups and those involved in the grooming scandal.
Every country needs to control immigration, the results of failing to do so are pretty self evident to the UK public. Yet to left wingers this is suppose to be part of an end game where people take to the streets and 'they' will lead the inevitable revolution, forgetting that in most recent revolutions, it's the left who go to the wall first.
Left wing thought (for given values of thought) seems mired in taking from all to pay for something no-one other than the left wants. Their attempts to do so need to be constantly publicised until the day comes when these people have no influence on society at all and the term socialist is viewed in the same way Nazi is today.

For God's sake just play the bloody thing!

The BBC in an effort to promote their hatred of Thatcher whilst desperately trying to remain 'impartial' ave manage to offend just about everyone, which I suspect is not the impartiality they wanted...
The problem they have is the song ♫ Ding dong the witch is dead ♪ which is not to surprisingly heading for chart success as many of those who are buying it have no idea who or what Thatcher was and have simply bought into the idea that she was the anti-Christ.
BBC.
The BBC has defended its decision not to play in full on Radio 1's Official Chart Show a song at the centre of an anti-Baroness Thatcher campaign.
A five second clip of Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead will be played in a news item on Sunday's show.
BBC Radio 1 controller Ben Cooper said the move over the Wizard of Oz film track had been a difficult compromise.
He said he had to balance respect for someone who had just died with issues around freedom of speech.
Sales of the song, from the 1939 musical starring Judy Garland, have soared since former Prime Minister Lady Thatcher's death on Monday, aged 87.
That's right, they played five seconds of it and upset a lot of people. Yet the daft thing is, had they played it all, it would have been (probably) a five second wonder. As it is, the BBC may just have put themselves in the position of having to play it again next week bringing with it more opprobrium.
When you ban something then it becomes oddly enough something that people feel inclined to try out. people are bloody minded like that so the BBC is in fact fuelling the sales of the song (perhaps it's deliberate) yet is being forced to try and defend its decisions at large putting them in a no win situation.
Now an impartial (as in really impartial) organisation would have simply just played it without comment and got it out of the way and next week it would have moved onto something new.
The BBC are simply incapable of doing such a thing and so managed to upset just about everyone with an interest in the matter from those who wanted their little mass media protest to those who were horrified by it.
Banning simply doesn't work, those calling for it should have simply ignored the BBC not given it air time over a crisis. For those who wanted the song, get over yourselves, you wouldn't like it done to one of your heroes.
Yet it still should have been played.
Not the stupid games over it...

The bansturbationists...

What is it with people who seek always to prevent others from making informed choices in their actions by seeking legislation to ban everything they do not like?
BBC.
Advertising aimed at children of primary school age and younger should be banned, a group of authors, journalists and academics has said.
The group supports a new campaign called Leave our kids alone which says techniques aimed at manipulating adult emotions and desires are being used on children as young as two in the UK.
Campaign co-founder Jonathan Kent says the adverts are like "kiddie crack".
But the advertising watchdog says rules on advertising to children are strict.
Do these people not realise there is an off button (or standby button on the remote) and that parents really should not be allowing the tv to be the oblong babysitter? Oh yes I'm sure some advertisers believe that they can persuade kids to badger their parents into giving them what they want. However that's a reflection on the parents, not the advertisers or kids. Parents after all have the right to say 'no' no matter how hard their kids throw a wobbler at them. That some parents can't is probably a reflection on the infantilism that successive governments have made of our populace, certainly the pressure group is a reflection of a lobbying campaign that seems to be in danger of giving the government a new set of powers, something which will later come back to bite the buggers on the arse no doubt when the legislation suffers from some politician using it in a way that the group never envisaged, it's known as mission creep. After all, those in favour of RIPA never envisaged it being used to track down people suspected of school catchment fraud.
'Leave our kids alone' will hopefully drop the issue eventually, I do hope so as there's a real danger that they'll get what they asked for in the worst possible way...

They have a right, as do we...

The Thatcher legacy rumbles on in the press, on social media such as twitter and Facebook as well as in various blogs. What can certainly be accurately said is that the woman certainly produced strong feelings in many, from adulation to vitriolic hate, despite being out of power for nigh on 23 years.

Never forgive, never forget
There has been arranged a ceremonial funeral (rather than a state one) with a Falklands war theme running through it perhaps the one even which most find it in their hearts to believe in this Thatcher got it dead right. as for the rest, well it depends on your point of view...
Telegraph.
The woman behind an internet campaign to organise street parties to "celebrate" the death of Baroness Thatcher can be named as Romany Blythe, a drama teacher from Brighton.
Romany Blythe, 45, created a group on Facebook called The Witch is Dead followed by more than 5,000 people, calling for “demonstrations of disapproval” across the country.
A number of places on the list were locations of riots and demonstrations that took place across the country on Monday, including Bristol city centre and George Square in Glasgow. Blythe is a drama teacher with a workshop company that visits secondary schools. She specialises in “facilitating workshops for young, excluded and potentially criminalised individuals and uses drama techniques she has developed to explore resolution of conflict and oppression,” according to the company's website.
Actually just reading her profile on there tells you pretty much all you need to know about a woman who doesn't really have any experience of the real world.
However she does have the right to organise her protests as do others who cannot forgive Thatcher for dealing with socialisms poisoning of the UK via the unions and militant tendency. Nor do I blame them for holding onto their hatred, it's their right, however silly it would appear to be to many others.
And that's the rub isn't it?
They have the right to trumpet their hate, yet many of them would attempt to stop others from going into mindless triumphalism
One of the things we've lost in this country is a right...
That's the right to face up to the consequences of our actions. Now say this woman did hold a street party (Bet Brighton Council forego a elf n safety review) you can bet the police will step in if say such a party came under threat from a counter-protest. Same if it were vice versa, though the English at least don't tend to celebrate death as such which is why the leftist parties look distinctly churlish or even moronic.
The people holding such parties will be expecting to be protected if they come under threat because of their actions. These would be the same people who in the past tried to stop Nick Griffin speaking on Question Time, who attempt violence during their own protests, who issue threats on social media and generally believe that everyone should believe as they do.
They want their rights, but forget we have rights too. They expect the full protection of the law, but protest if the law protects others.
Hypocrites all.

Parish Notice

No real blogging tonight as I've just gotten back from hospital after my lovely granddaughter slipped off the settee and sliced open her lip on the edge of a coffee table.
She'll be ok, but it looks pretty deep and I suspect the use of superglue might not be enough.
Blogging will hopefully resume tomorrow.

A chapter of history closes

Margaret Thatcher, like her or loathe her died today, she was in many peoples eyes the greatest post war Prime Minister the country has ever had and won three consecutive general elections increasing her majority each time, something no other prime minister this or the previous century managed.
Yet there are some out there who will be delighted that a frail old lady suffering from alzheimers died today from a stroke. Some with good reason though they tend to be a minority of the left and those who came into direct conflict with Thatcher's government (ex miners mostly) No doubt they will be the ones making the embarrassing headlines here and there about dancing (or worse) on graves and will mostly be ignored.
Eulogies will no doubt become endless too, as Thatcher's life and the events she had power over will be gone over time and time again. Some will no doubt go completely over the top there too.
To me Margaret Thatcher was a direct reaction to the times we lived in when she took power. The militant left had decided that they could and would make everyone's life a misery with their actions via the union barons. The electorate decided to elect a Prime Minister to put a stop to this and indeed Thatcher did. That said had it not been for the Falklands conflict she may not have won a second term (never mind a third) as the cure as ever was proving unpalatable to many who fell upon hard times as the UK's industrial base changed beyond recognition and the service sector grew to replace it.
As it was, the Falklands conflict showed the people that we had a true leader, not just a person in charge and Thatcher reaped the benefit of this until her untimely demise at the hands of a group of fearful EUphiles.
The Prime Ministers who followed her could not hold a candle to her achievements, nor are they men of true worth, simply shades of bland grey. Talentless nobodies whose only desire is to achieve and hold onto power no matter the cost to the UK people.
So RIP Margaret Thatcher, you are sorely missed.

Did I like her?
No.
Did I admire her and what she achieved?
Hell yes!

Oh my a touch of common sense

The Tories are still in a bit of a tiz over Ukip and what they see as that party poaching their 'natural' voting group, though a quick check of the demographics of Ukips voter base suggests that support is coming from all over the political spectrum, not just the Tory vote. Ukip seem to have established a foothold into the traditional working class vote that Labour thought was theirs as well as certain voting groups that the Lib Dems saw as their core support.
So naturally the Tories (and others) are trying to position their policies in areas in which they believe Ukip are stealing a march on them ie immigration...
Telegraph.
Foreign migrants are to be banned from obtaining legal aid for civil claims until they have lived in Britain for at least a year.
The crackdown on immigrants’ rights is among the changes to be announced by ministers this week to cut the £1.7 billion legal aid bill by approximately £300 million.
It will hit illegal immigrants, failed asylum seekers and even those on tourist or student visas who have taken advantage of the lax rules or lack of checks on their status.
Under the range of new measures, prisoners are to be banned from using legal aid for cases that do not relate to the length of their sentences. “I am proposing to take legal aid away from prisoners who don’t like the prison they are in, or don’t like the cell they are in, or don’t like a part of the regime,” Mr Grayling said.
In a separate move — with ministers determined to take a tough line on offending — Mr Grayling disclosed that he is planning a change in court guidelines after a criminal convicted of attacking three people had his curfew lifted so that he could go on holiday to Thailand.
Of course talking the talk is easy, the question remains, can they walk the walk especially as our judicial system has proved that it is perfectly prepared to ignore the laws of this country if they are 'overridden' by international or European laws.
Yes all these measures sound pretty good, particularly the prisoner ones, the immigration ones not going nearly far enough. Personally other than appeals regarding their sentences prisoners should not have access to the legal aid system, there is a principle involved which should deny them access to things that those not incarcerated take for granted. They get meals, housed and given something to occupy them. That's pretty much all they need.
As for immigrants, well unless they've paid into the system a certain amount then they get no help from the system, that should also include benefits as well as legal aid. Personally I'd set the bar far higher than a year, more like five years, though if the lawyers wish to do pro bono stuff that's up to them.
All this reform I believe is a direct result of Ukip's recent surge in support, though whether the Tories or Labour can do anything about it simply with words remains to be seen, because at the moment words are all I'm hearing, not action and I certainly won't believe it until someone legally challenges it as I believe that EU and European laws will stop this in its tracks...

It could just be that he's not that good

The hate-mongering business as set up by the left to justify their social engineering and exclusion policies in order to change society into the way they believe it should be (ie not one anybody with common sense or decency would wish to live in) constantly throws up cases where prejudice is assumed simply because of the colour of a persons skin, or religion (or the now vast other 'special' groups out there) Quite often it's in the interest of the hate industry to make such cases media events, after all, if they don't, people might start asking pointed questions as to why we are employing them...
The Sun.
ONE of Britain’s oldest youth football clubs has been accused of repeatedly subbing the same boy — just because he’s Asian.
Furious mum Fehnez Khan reported the team to cops and the FA — claiming her nine-year-old lad Jaedon was the victim of race hate.
The raging parent insisted: “My son was the only coloured boy in the side and I am sure that was why he wasn’t given as good a chance as the rest.”
The conveyancing assistant, 42, even hired two undercover coaches to watch Jaedon play — and she said they couldn’t understand why he was often taken off.
But officials from Knowle FC in Solihull, West Mids — which was formed in 1926 — have angrily denied any suggestion of racism.
They told cops the youngster was only ever substituted or put on the bench for football reasons.
Ah the classic 'is it cos I is black' cri de coeur of someone who refuses to accept any other explanation other than the one where it has to be prejudice, as we all know that prejudice is rife in our society. After all it must be, we're constantly being told it is by the race industry and the moronic left.
The real explanation though is somewhat more prosaic...
They quizzed the parents of nine players, including one Asian boy, who said Jaedon was a weaker squad member.
In other words he simply wasn't good enough for the team, not necessarily useless, just that if you are in a squad of very good players then you might just struggle to keep up with them, or your game style simply does not suit the teams style.
It's usually not because your skin colour doesn't fit.
That however does not stop the race/hate-mongers deciding to leap into action as it gives them an excuse to get their cause into the press as well as getting a wad of cash in compo should they get their way.
Altogether now... ♪It's never your fault, it's never your fault. Always the victim, it's never your fault.♫
(To the tune of the Sloop John B chorus)
The sooner we get a government with the balls to dismantle the hate industry and move us all to the same status rather than believe some animals are more equal than others the better.

Unless of course you're 'special'

Hate crimes, you'd think that they'd apply to any specific attack on anyone citing their colour, religion, social/sexual/gender group and now the newly created fashionista's of the goths and emos clans. Except that we know that such hate crimes cannot be committed by those groups unless they are white, mainstream and most likely male. Indeed such attacks by the minority groups that are clearly hate crimes (Rhea Paige ring any bells) are simply not treat by the law with the same rules and rigour.
Express.
A POLICE force has begun recording offences against members of alternative subcultures, such as goths and emos, as hate crimes.
Greater Manchester Police is believed to be the first force to add abuse towards groups such as goths, emos and punks in the same way they do attacks based on race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity.
Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan said: "People who wish to express their alternative sub-culture identity freely should not have to tolerate hate crime."
The police force has worked with a charity set up following the murder of 20-year-old goth Sophie Lancaster in 2007.
Miss Lancaster was kicked and stamped to death because she was dressed as a goth in a park in Bacup, Lancashire, in August 2007.
She slipped into a coma and never regained consciousness.
Whilst I do see any attack specifically aimed at someone because they belong to a certain group, it does behove me to point out the hypocrisy of such classifications when the CPS resolutely refuse to prosecute on such grounds when the victim is white mainstream. At the moment it's only Greater Manchester police who are adding these groups to the classification, though I suspect as with any other minority initiative it will soon become commonplace.
It would be nice though if we could all be treated equally, though at the moment I'm afraid it's still 'game on' for victimhood poker, where race, religion, gender and alternative sexuality all define just how seriously the law will perceive your case...

Must be nice...

I have often wondered what it would be like to be able to afford to go on strike, it must after all be nice to be able to do so. That said, I've never been in a position where I've needed too, or felt pushed into going on strike, not even during my sojourn in the public sector as a railway and bus worker. The other places I've worked for if I haven't liked them, I've simply moved on to something different (not necessarily better, but the trend was ever upward)
Telegraph.
Unite, Britain's biggest union, is understood to be leading calls for a super-strike in protest against the Government cuts. A document drawn up by the union described a general strike as "desirable", according to the Financial Times. The newspaper reported that Unite believes: “It would be a landmark in our movement’s recovery of its morale, strength and capacity to play a leading part in a society crying out for credible and honourable leadership." However, other less radical unions would be likely to oppose the idea.
This would be Unite as led by Len McClusket on £122,434 per annum plus perks who can clearly afford to go on strike with his members, bearing in mind that they'll be on strike and he'll still be raking it in. I also had to stifle a guffaw at a communist union leader going on about 'credible and honourable leadership' as most communists (and indeed much of the more strident left) wouldn't know credible and honourable leadership if it came up to them and nutted them in the face. Indeed much of the history of the left shows that whatever happens, the scum always rises to the top and then proceeds to murder, intimidate and jail any and all opposition whilst running the economy into the ground via corruption and magic money tree economic policies. It should also be noted that Len was a supporter (though not as member) of the infamous Militant Tendency movement which nearly crippled the Labour Party and made them unelectable for years.
If such a strike does happen (unlikely in the extreme) it will be a massive own goal for Labour and a gift to Cameron.
Whilst I have no problem with the far left causing Labour to commit political suicide, I do wish they'd find a way to do it without impoverishing union members and inconveniencing the rest of us.
I can live without either...

Fifth Column

A fifth column is a group of people who undermine a larger group, such as a nation or a besieged city, from within. The term was first coined (according to Wikipedia) by Emilio Mola who told a journalist in 1936 that as his four columns of troops approached Madrid, a "fifth column" of supporters inside the city would support him against the republican government.
BBC.
A council worker from east London has admitted storing 300 computer discs of terrorist material in his car and home.
Khalid Baqa, 48, who worked as a revenue officer for Hackney Council, had one of the discs in his office computer, the Old Bailey heard.
Baqa, of Priory Road, Barking, pleaded guilty to two offences of disseminating terrorist publications.
A further seven offences of having material likely to be useful in terrorism were ordered to lie on file.
He was remanded in custody for sentencing on 26 April.
What we have with islamists is the equivalent of a fifth column living and working (or claiming jihad seekers allowance)in the UK with the avowed intent of causing mayhem until the day when 'they' will take over. The problem is, is that many ordinary muslims simply ignore their activities in a sort of them and us attitude where incitement to violence, slander, bigotry, misogyny, terrorism, child cruelty and other similar offences. (Google channel 4 undercover mosque) is happening under the mainstream populaces noses. Oh sure the claim is made that not all muslims are supporters of terrorism, but there does appear to be a large majority of them passively ignoring the extremism in their midst. Indeed some are well known Labour party activists who have threatened to bring a violent mob to the Houses of Parliament if they don't get their own way.
Our own leaders have connived to admit as many of these people into our midst despite knowing that some of their behaviour is not compatible with civilised values, they even support them when genuine criticism is levelled at them despite knowing about the grooming scandals for years before it finally surfaced in the MSM. Many of the idiotic left indeed stand shoulder to shoulder with the child molesters against protests because they define the protesters as 'racist' which appears to be a leftard term for 'not thinking like we do' same with fascist, bigot etc. etc.
What we have is a growing, intolerant ideology masking itself in religious trappings determined to wreck civilisation and remake it in its own hateful image. It tolerates no rivals, uses an outdated set of inflexible rules to keep muslims on top and everyone else subservient underneath them so long as they pay protection money (and sometimes not even then)
This is a problem that isn't going to go away and will probably become worse. Longer it goes, the worse the 'cure' will be and it's all aided and abetted by our powers that be and the denizens of the idiot left.
Truly we will live in interesting times...
Consider... (From Gates of Vienna blog)

  • Only nineteen percent of Pakistanis have a negative view of Al Qaeda and by default the Taliban, whilst seventy-five percent wish to see Sharia law implemented. British-born Muslims make an estimated four hundred thousand trips a year to Pakistan, where as many as thirty threats against Britain are being monitored at any given time.
  • Thirty-three percent of Muslim students in Britain think killing in the name of Islam is permissible. Only thirty-seven percent oppose the introduction of Sharia law and only twenty-five percent oppose the creation of a worldwide Muslim caliphate.
  • MI5 believe there are up to four thousand potential terrorists and thirteen thousand Al Qaeda sympathisers living in Britain. The CIA devotes an astonishing forty percent of their anti-terrorist homeland security operations against suspects not in Afghanistan or Waziristan, but in Britain itself — a country described by one CIA operative as “a swamp of Jihadis.”
  • Barack Obama’s counter-terrorist advisor Bruce Riedel recently stated: “The British Pakistani community is recognised as probably Al Qaeda’s best mechanism for launching an attack against North America.”

Throwing your toys out of the pram

What is it about the political left and childish behaviour (to go on top of malevolent, genocidal, eugenetic, dictatorial behaviour to name but a few) It's like they simply cannot accept that other people might have different views and go out of their way to denigrate, minimise or more usually misrepresent them. Take anything that sniffs of right wing thought (whether it's right wing or simply a different type of left wing) and suddenly the toys go out of the pram...
BBC.
Ex-foreign secretary David Miliband has resigned from the board of Sunderland football club over new head coach Paolo Di Canio's "past political statements".
Mr Di Canio has previously described himself as "a fascist, not a racist".
Mr Miliband had been serving as the club's vice-chairman and as a non-executive director.
He said he wished the club "all success in the future. It is a great institution that does a huge amount for the North East".
One can only assume that the huge amount Sunderland do for the North East is for the vast amusement of Newcastle fans... but I digress.
I was aware of Millipede D's association with Sunderland, though that wasn't the main reason for disliking him, I mainly disliked him because he was simply another Blair clone with all the economic ineptitude that goes with such a position. Bluntly, anyone of the left of the political spectrum should not be allowed anywhere near the countries finances, they simply haven't a clue and mistake political dogma for economic policy. (Think magic money tree, union corruption and spending more than you take in)
Still you have the amusing story of Millipede D quitting his (well paid) position of non executive board director of Sunderland AFC because the new manager admits he holds fascist views (not racist but fascist) which is quite laughable as Fascism is a credo or political movement of the left as it simply does not accommodate free markets or capitalism. However it's not orthodox leftism so that immediately makes it right wing (it isn't) and a threat to leftist orthodoxy (which it is as it appeals to the working class far more than Marxism being of a nationalist pride in your country bent)
However anyone holding political views that the left cannot subvert or twist is seen as a threat so the extreme gesture is called for and most people will never know just what it is that Di Canio said or believes (it isn't in the BBC article surprise, surprise) Milliband is a creepy Marxist who Sunderland (and his constituency of South Shield's) are well rid of, I wish Di Canio well (but not that well, I am a Newcastle fan after all)
